Blacksmiths features
With a population less than 2000, Blacksmiths is a small coastal suburb that’s in huge demand.
Blacksmiths Beach is one of the most popular sandy stretches for Lake Mac residents and, even better for families with young kids, Grannies Pool offers a safe, protected way to swim with kids.
The suburb has plenty of shopping and dining options. Locals have their choice of pubs, cafes and bakeries and, most importantly, Blacksmiths Take Away does by far the best chips anywhere nearby. Even if you don’t buy here, make sure to stop in for lunch as you drive through.
Situated on the Pacific Highway, getting down to Swansea and the Central Coast is a breeze and, likewise, heading north to Belmont, Gateshead and Newcastle couldn’t be easier.
