Kahibah features
With a population of less than 3000, living in Kahibah feels like you’re in a small village. Around Hexham and Glebe streets, you’ll find the local shops – cafes, takeaways, supermarkets and more. For more choice, the shops at Charlestown are just a few minutes away.
You’ve also got a playground and a church, as well as a handy servo. The local sports club is a popular venue for locals, with regular gigs, pool comps and more.
If you’re active, you’re going to love Kahibah. The Fernleigh Track cuts through the suburb, giving you a great place for bushwalks and cycling trips. There’s also Glenrock Reserve where you can tackle nature with less flat terrain. At the other end of Glenrock, you’ll find yourself on the beach and within walking distance of Merewether, otherwise it’s just a short drive to the beaches at Dudley and Redhead.
Kahibah appeals to lots of people, but it may be best suited for young families who want that feeling of community and safety.
