Swansea features
With direct access to Lake Macquarie and the ocean, Swansea’s position on the Lake Entrance is one that’s almost unrivalled.
The suburb itself is very water-focussed with beaches facing both the lake and channel. The walking trails make it easy to take in the most of this glorious landscape.
In terms of shops and facilities, there’s little reason to leave the suburb. Along the Pacific Highway you’ll find supermarkets, servos and bottle shops, as well as cafes, chippies and takeaways. Swansea also has hotels and RSLs for a cosy night out.
Property in Swansea is in high demand because of its location and facilities, with the median house price tipping over into the million dollar club in the last 12 months.
If you do need to travel, the Pacific Highway makes it very easy to get around. Head north through Belmont and Charlestown on the way to Newcastle or head south to the Central Coast and onto Sydney.
