Whitebridge features
Whitebridge has a growing reputation as one of Lake Mac’s best brunch spots. The strip along Dudley Road has a number of popular cafes, attracting visitors from all over the Lake Macquarie LGA.
Among these cafes, you’ll also find a takeaway, supermarket and pharmacy, as well as an incredible Thai restaurant. It’s just a short drive up to Charlestown where you’ll find a huge shopping centre and plenty more choice for restaurants.
Generally considered a family-friendly suburb, Whitebridge has well-regarded schools and some great opportunities to get outdoors. The Fernleigh Track cuts through Whitebridge, where you’ll find wildlife at the former dam, and it’s just a short walk to the hiking trails at Glenrock.
Being on the eastern side of the Pacific Highway, you’re never far from a beach. As well as Glenrock Beach, you can easily get to Dudley, Redhead and even up to Merewether to swim in the ocean and get your feet sandy.
Because of the popularity of the area, property prices in Whitebridge are generally north of a million (and growing). However, recent developments have increased the number of units here, meaning more people have the budget to buy in Whitebridge.
