Hamilton North features
Found just to the east of the McDonald Jones Stadium and to the north of Broadmeadow and Hamilton, Hamilton North is in a great location.
Close to some of Newcastle’s best facilities, shopping areas and even the beaches, you’re hard-pressed to find a better spot.
Hamilton North itself is popular with locals for its Clyde Street shops, a mix of second-hand stores and op shops, it’s a great place to find vintage pieces and bargains. For local creatives, the Creator Incubator is an incredible co-working space.
It’s also extremely close to the farmers market at the entertainment centre, the IGA just off Griffiths Road and the attractions at the stadium (go karting, mini golf and the city’s cheapest gym).
Houses in Hamilton North tipped over into million dollar territory at the start of 2026, but unit prices have dipped in recent months, potentially opening buyers up to a bargain.
