Lending is not limited by where you live. Our brokers are in Newcastle and work with clients anywhere in Australia by phone and video, so if your suburb is not listed it is still worth asking.

The four areas above are the ones we publish suburb-level figures for, because they are the ones we write the most loans in and can talk about street by street. Where we can lend is a different question, and a much larger one. A lender’s credit policy is national; what changes from state to state is the process around it — the conveyancing, the cooling-off period and the duty payable at settlement.

That matters when you are reading the rest of this site. The transfer duty figures, the cooling-off rules and the price caps quoted on our first home buyer pages are New South Wales ones. If you are buying in another state, tell us where and we will tell you which of them apply to you and which do not, rather than leaving you to work it out from a page written for somewhere else.

There is one office, at Suite 1.02, 59 Darby Street in Cooks Hill, and no branch anywhere else. Most of the work happens by phone, video and email whatever the postcode: the paperwork, the lender follow-ups and the chasing that goes on between approval and settlement do not need you in the room.
