Why Wisebuy exists
Brad East started Wisebuy in 2015 because the way most people get a home loan is backwards. You go to the bank you already bank with, they offer you the products they sell, and you have no way of knowing whether it was a good deal or simply the only deal you were shown.
A broker inverts that. We compare more than sixty lenders, put your case to the one most likely to say yes on terms that suit you, and get paid the same commission by whichever lender writes it — which is exactly why we have no reason to prefer one.
Ten years on, most of our work still comes from people who were sent to us by someone we helped. That is the only marketing that has ever really worked for us, and it is why we would rather be the brokerage that answers the phone in year three than the one with the biggest ad budget.
